Paintings by Gaspare Gilardoni
Gaspare Gilardoni’s naïve style acrylic paintings are landscapes from around his home in iconically picturesque Bellagio and around Lake Como.
The lake’s ever changing light and stunning vistas provide a favourite subject for this charming and engaging local artist, who sadly retired in 2017 with failing eye sight.
Gaspare had a studio nestled in beside the church in Bellagio and could be found working there throughout the summer months. He is also accomplished in the style of a still life artist, a post-impressionists as well as his more simplistic styled acrylic ones.
