Olive wood
Pacio is a gentle giant, a former sporting legend, he now continues the age old tradition, and his passion, of wood carving alongside his beautiful wife, Teresa.
Since Pacio was a boy he has loved working with wood which is evident from his craftsmanship and the care and love he puts into making each piece. He proudly, and skilfully makes practical olive wood boards and kitchen utensils which are tactile and a joy to use each day.
Pacio surely has one of the worlds best workshops high up on the hill overlooking Lake Como with views stretching out as far as Switzerland.
The olive wood used is sourced from old olive groves in Southern Italy and at times Albania. The boards are beautiful and ideal to serve anything on while the utensils are beautiful and functional which is surely the perfect combination.
